Among the Five Civilized Tribes, each color holds a sacred meaning, tied to balance, direction, and purpose. These hues reflect endurance, unity, and the shared spirit of African and Indigenous peoples, carrying memory and identity across generations. In Native traditions, color is alive with spirit, symbolizing life, harmony, and the sacred connection between people and the land.
We stand in solidarity with all movements, building unity and collective power for justice and lasting change. Black Natives are woven into the fabric of every community, with one fight and all voices coming together to end injustice for all. Racial gaslighting, which undermines confidence, distorts reality, and preserves systemic racism, cannot silence us or derail the work of accountability and equity.
